Michelle brings to her classes a sense of calm, caring and michelleh pic1expertise. She models her deep knowledge of yoga through her presence and her graceful teaching style. Her class structure includes modified flow sequences and unique variations of poses. Her classes are taught to the sounds of world music gently playing in the background. Michelle’s voice is soothing and if you listen carefully, you just might hear a tiny bit of a southern accent peeking through! When taking class with Michelle, one can expect a moderate temperature, about 72 degrees. Michelle gives the students plenty of personal space to explore their practice.

Michelle is trained in Classic Hatha Yoga, with an emphasis on philosophy, at the Yoga Life Institute. She studied with Bob Butera, PhD in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which is affiliated with Bombay Institute in India. She is currently enrolled at the michelleh pic2California Institute of Integral Studies.

Michelle is a painter and expresses herself through art and music. She loves being outdoors and feels at home when she is close to nature. She has two adorable daughters and is in love with life. She believes that anything is possible and that fear is the biggest illusion.
